Call for Papers


The Centre for Vedic and Yogic Sciences (CVYS) and Department of Sanskrit, Hansraj College, University of Delhi, invite academicians, researchers, scholars, educators, practitioners and students to submit original research papers for presentation at the National Conference on “Reimagining Indian Knowledge Traditions in the Contemporary World.” The conference seeks to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue on Indian Knowledge Systems and their relevance to contemporary science, philosophy, technology, health and society.

Authors are invited to submit original research papers on themes including, but not limited to:

Before you submit

Submission Guidelines


  • Abstract Length: Minimum 300 words and maximum 500 words.
  • Submissions must include Paper Title, Theme, Author Name(s), Email ID(s), and Institutional Affiliation(s).
  • Abstract Submission: Kindly submit your abstract to conference_iks2026@hrc.du.ac.in.
  • All accepted abstracts will be considered for Oral or Poster Presentation.
  • Accepted and presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings (ISBN: 979-8-90678-166-6).
  • Final submissions of accepted papers may be written in English or Hindi, with a maximum length of 5 printed pages, including figures.
  • Registration & Payment: Registration/payment will be required only after the abstract has been selected for Oral or Poster Presentation. Payment details and the registration link will be communicated to selected participants via e-mail.
